PAINT CORRECTION.

At Ceramicar, we offer only the highest-quality in-house paint correction techniques in our fully equipped automotive workshop. Ceramicar will restore your scratched, faded, or damaged paintwork to a slick, mirror-like finish. Most of these are imperfections inflicted by automatic/DIY car washes or poor wash techniques that use sponges, which trap dirt and grit between the sponge and the paintwork, scratching the surface and leaving swirl marks or, worse, deep scratches and webbing. paint protection in Adelaide

FAQ's

Paint correction is the process of using specialised machine polishers and compounds to remove defects from a vehicle's clear coat, including swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, water spots, and surface haze. The result is dramatically improved gloss, clarity and depth of finish.
Yes, if your vehicle has visible paint defects. Paint protection coating locks in the condition of the paintwork beneath it. If swirl marks or scratches are present, correcting the paint first ensures the protection enhances a flawless surface rather than sealing in imperfections.
The number of stages required depends on the severity of paint defects. Stage 1 suits light surface haze and minor swirl marks. Stage 2 addresses moderate swirling and scratching. Stage 3 or multi-stage is for heavily damaged or oxidised paintwork. Ceramicar inspects your vehicle and recommends the appropriate correction level.
Paint correction removes defects that have not penetrated through the clear coat. Deeper scratches reaching the base coat or primer require respray or touch-up paint. Ceramicar assesses each vehicle individually and advises on what correction alone can achieve.
